Twilight of the Golds
Friday, February 11, 2000 at 8:00pm
The Human Rights Campaign's dinner committee will sponsor a performance of The Twilight of the Golds at Chagrin Valley Little Theatre in Chagrin Falls. The production features Todd Stuart, well-known to theatre-going audiences throughout northern Ohio. Stuart is also familiar to radio listeners as co-host of Buck Harris's "Gay 90s."
The controversial drama written by Jonathan Tolins, focuses on contemporary themesgenetics, gay and reproductive rights, and conflicted family relationships-with a story line and outcome that will prompt opinionated conversation among audience members. A discussion session among cast, director and audience will follow HRC's February 11th performance hosted by Reverend Kathyrn M. Huey. Rev. Huey is associate pastor of Pilgrim Congregational United Church of Christ, and the recipient of Lexington Theological Seminary's 1998 Award in Ethics. Rev. Huey and her church are known throughout greater Cleveland for extending a warm welcome to gay and lesbian people, fully including their gifts in the life of the congregation.
Tickets for the February 11th performance are available at the special price of $10. They may be obtained by calling Thom Rankin at 440-356-5373 ext. 209 or Jackie Cassara at 216-328-2511
